MINIS from The Italian Job, Mad Max’s V8 Interceptor and KITT from Knight Rider will be rolled into Pendle for a major motoring festival which was proudly sponsored by Lloyd Colne BMW & MINI.

Even Del Boy’s Reliant Robin from Only Fools and Horses made an appearance when Pendle Powerfest returned to Nelson and Colne College thisMay.

The show has been growing over the last few years with thousands of visitors flocking to the showground based at Nelson & Colne college.

The show is a volunteer-run family motor show held in east Lancashire on the last Sunday in May each year with the aim of raising money for a chosen good cause.

A wide range of approximately 250 vehicles to see with no vehicle type excluded, plus live music, entertainment, trade, food and more all make for a fantastic family day out.

Councillor Rosemary Carroll, Mayor of Pendle commented; “I was delighted to open this year’s Pendle Powerfest. It was a fantastic day which attracted people of all ages.

It’s great to see high profile events like this taking place in the borough. They help us to put Pendle on the map as a premier visitor destination.”
