I think the bad news of the car failing its MOT at a huge cost could have been delivered a little more compassionately. The quote was literally put under our noses with a 'its going to fail' comment. Felt some emotion wouldn't go amiss.

Not the friendliest of receptions. The traffic was really bad, so we were approx 25 mins late, which I explained to the service clerk , who said 'it's ok, I just want it to get it booked in as the mechanics are stood waiting for it'.

Our car was booked in for front and rear cameras after which the pedestrian warning was inactive. After a call to service reception it was agreed that it was more than likely a s/w fault as the system and we rebooked for a recode.

The only reason i give 4 is the lack of communication. The insurance company had paid the money but it took myself phoning bmw to see when the work would be done. I phoned at least 5 times to be told they would phone back but never got a return call.

Bought car and windscreen jets very poor flow and blocked after 5 months, cost over £133 to fix at Lloyds Blackpool. Lloyds Colne refused to cover costs, not happy with customer service, obviously car not checked on pre delivery / pick up.

Makeup left in vehicle after service. Driver's side alloy dust cap removed and not put back on. Was told to have a track rod end replaced + full KDS wheel alignment. However no faults at all, so no idea what sort of upsell this was.

The work was carried out satisfactorily, however remedial works were not proactively reported, this caused a 1 day appointment becoming 3 days. Also spare parts holding at the dealer appears to be lean, differential oil seal and earth strap no stock
